How we work

The work that makes
a conversation worthwhile.

Reach suitable buyers, develop their interest and give your team the context to take a sales conversation forward. SGS manages the work that gets you there.

01

Focus on businesses with a reason to buy

We learn what your customers value and agree which businesses are most likely to benefit from your offer. Clear selection criteria keep the campaign focused on prospects who fit, with evidence to support the claims we make.

02

Give each person a relevant reason to engage

We research the company and the individual, then select the findings that connect their circumstances with your offer. Those findings shape the message and the reason for a conversation. Before outreach begins, you see the campaign brief, example prospects and proposed messages, and agree what qualifies a conversation.

03

Keep interest moving forward

Your team does not have to find time for every initial approach and follow-up. SGS manages that work, responds to what each person says and clarifies their interest. We bring substantive technical or commercial questions to you when your expertise is needed.

04

Start the sales conversation informed

When a suitable prospect agrees to talk, we coordinate the meeting and explain who they are, why they fit and what interests them. You receive what has been discussed, any known timing and outstanding questions, so you can build on the conversation already under way.

05

See what is producing opportunities

We report meaningful responses and meetings booked and held, then use your feedback to follow proposals and business won. You can see where interest is developing and where it stalls. We use that evidence to improve prospect selection, messages and qualification.

A shared definition

What makes a conversation qualified?

A booking alone is not enough. We agree the criteria for your engagement and record what has actually been established.

  • The business fits the agreed account criteria.
  • The person has relevant responsibility or influence.
  • There is relevant interest or a buying situation established in the exchange.
  • They understand the offer and explicitly agree to the discussion.
  • You receive the context needed to take it forward, with unknowns made clear.

What we need
from your team.

You bring an established offer, evidence of the value it delivers and someone who can take a relevant conversation through discovery, proposal and decision. We agree what makes a suitable prospect and how both teams will handle questions, meetings and feedback.

Your team owns the substantive sales discussion, proposals, negotiation and delivery. SGS owns the agreed acquisition work and the quality of the handover. Scope, channels, targets and fees are agreed for your engagement.

An engagement
that fits the work.

Preparation and ongoing operation have distinct scopes. Engagements can continue on an ongoing basis, with review points, any minimum commitment and notice agreed for the assignment.

Fees reflect the agreed build and operating work. Where appropriate, a separately agreed success fee can apply. We do not promise a universal number of meetings or guaranteed sales.
